High Purity Chemical Proaine hydrochloride / Proaine HCL CAS 51-05-8:Proaine is a local anesthetic drug of the amino ester group. It is used primarily to reduce the pain of intramuscular injection of penicillin, and it is also used in dentistry. Owing to the ubiquity of the trade name Novocain, in some regions proaine is referred to generically as Proaine. It acts mainly by being a sodium channel blocker. Today it is used therapeutically in some countries due to its sympatholytic, anti-inflammatory, perfusion enhancing, and mood enhancing effects.

Topical Proainehas demonstrated efficacy in alleviating the pain associated with postherpetic neuralgia (a complication of shingles) in some patients, though more research is needed to recommend it as a first-line treatment. 2.Proaine also serves as a temporary solution for tinnitus. While not a cure, it has been shown to reduce the disorder's effects by approximately two thirds. 3.Proaine Hydrochloride,when administered intravenously or intramuscularly, is specifically indicated for the acute management of ventricular arrhythmias, such as those occurring during acute myocardial infarction or cardiac manipulation, including cardiac surgery. |
