It mainly treats diseases such as Cushing's Syndrome and primary aldosteronism by inhibiting the synthesis of adrenal cortical hormones. Its molecular formula is C20H25NO3, and its chemical structure is biologically active. It has been approved for use in many countries. Trilostane 13647-35-3 reduces the synthesis of hormones such as cortisol and aldosterone by inhibiting 3β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase (3β-HSD). In the treatment of Cushing's disease, trilostane helps alleviate symptoms caused by excess cortisol, such as weight gain, muscle weakness, and hyperglycemia.
