High Purity Teriparatide acetate / Teriparatide CAS 52232-67-4 : Teriparatide is a synthetic form of human parathyroid hormone (PTH 1-34), consisting of the biologically active fragment of PTH. It is a white to off-white powder, highly soluble in water. Teriparatide is used as an anabolic (bone-building) agent for treating osteoporosis in men and postmenopausal women at high risk of fractures. It stimulates osteoblast activity, increasing bone mass and strength. Clinically, it is administered via subcutaneous injection and is effective in reducing the risk of vertebral and non-vertebral fractures. It is also used in research for bone metabolism studies.
